GODINCIDENT

After three tries I finally was off. Upon arriving at the post office I got in line and waited. I was looking down at my "To List" pondering what I should do next. I looked up saw my friend whom I had not seen in years.  You're probably saying "Elaine where is this going." I had been thinking about this friend for days and now here she was in front of me. Many would say "coinky dink"! I think not! Because when I called to her she turned and said "I can't believe it I was thinking of you yesterday." After being energized by our conversation I realized we had to part and that was such sweet sorrow. Once in my car I reflected on my morning when I committed my day to God by praying.
The timing when I ran into my friend was perfect!
Coincident? No, it was a Godincident!

"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established" (Proverbs 16:3 KJV).

  1. We don't hear of the God incidents in our life enough! Thanks for sharing Elaine! Thanks for being so intune with God that you stay steadfast in His plan for your day, even in the medial tasks of shopping!!! I too had a God incident...Joe and I had to hurriedly go out of town very early Sunday. it was brilliantly sunny and we were playing praise/worship music. God was speaking to me about something I needed to do, and as I usually do, I asked Him to see my hawk. I hadn't finished asking when, in the middle of a very congested part of the highways, up on a street lamp, there was my hawk! Affirming, what was being said in my heart was what i was to act on! The hawk is a huge "sign" in my life! One landed on one of those green utility things that either the phone company uses or street lights electric. It was at the corner of Ogden and York!!!!! it was on the way home from the hospital the day Nick and Nicole were coming home with baby Owen! Gods assurance! I don't deserve it, yet He freely gives it! Press on in doing good loved one! P.S. I am blogging too, you can find it at gh20/20vision.blogspot.com/
