Get a Grip

I can't get a grip on this feeling. I feel ansty. When I get like this I start filling up my "To Do List." It give me a sense of control.

There are many addictions out there that people are going to recovery groups to overcome. I think the most overlooked one is emotional addiction. Some have an emotional addiction to want to feel something all the time whether it is good or bad. Drama. Take a day where a schedule is quiet the emotional response could be translated as loneliness, rejection or emptiness. They are looking for something to fill voids in their life that can be used beneficially for rest but their mind chooses to look at it differently. Usually emotionalism discharges hormones that create a response in their body. The response can be good or bad but the point is that it is creating their body to do something. It is an addictive behavior.

Another emotional addiction is those that look for a fight. Have you ever met a person that is just looking to disagree with you so they can start up a heated discussion. They are like "Sharks" looking around to find something or someone to attack. Do you have any people like that in your life?

Both of these types of additive people tend to like drama to play out in there life. Many are denial and don't even realize they have a problem.

How do we do if we have to live or work with people like this?
