I am not referring to the bestselling book - EAT, PRAY, LOVE
I am talking about staying disciplined in life
practices that God has set in motion for me. I must follow Dr. Jesus' regimen.
I am adjusting to changes going on all around me. Things like:
My schedule.
Kids back to school.
Season change. Even if Fall is beautiful. Many changes come with a new season.
My time with God has changed.
I need to remember God's plan:
EAT, PRAY, LOVE

Blessings to you all. I get the feeling many of you can
identify with this regimen and I will pray that your life practices (they
usually are essential for thriving) be set in motion and time spent with the
Lord be constant.
I am reminded of the time (Matt. 14:25-31) the apostles
were in a boat, Jesus walked on water to them. The apostles were terrified they
thought they were seeing a ghost. Jesus told them not to be afraid, take
courage, for it was Him. Peter wasn't sure so he said "If that is you tell
me to come to you." Jesus said "Come." Peter walked on water to
Jesus. The wind picks up, Peter sinks and yells out "Jesus save me."
Jesus grabs hold of him and says "You of little faith." They get in
the boat and the wind dies down.
I was thinking about the fact that right before this
happened the miracle of feeding over 5000 people occurred. They ate, Peter asked, they got in the boat and all was back to love.
Eat up God's word.
Pray God's word.
Pray God's word.
Love with God's word.
We all have our moments like Peter. Give yourself a break
today and rest and be reassured that God is always there for us even if we
doubt or let life circumstance control us rather than letting God be in
control.
