LAINEY IS OKAY

Last week I wrote about changes going on in life.

I asked, "Are you going through changes right now?" Are you afraid, worried or anxious about the changes?

Here is where I am at now with the whole said subject about schedule changes.

Proverbs 3:26 Dear friend, guard Clear Thinking and Common Sense with your life; don't for a minute lose sight of them. They'll keep your soul alive and well, they'll keep you fit and attractive. You'll travel safely,  you'll neither tire nor trip. You'll take afternoon naps without a worry, you'll enjoy a good night's sleep.
No need to panic over alarms or surprises, or predictions that doomsday's just around the corner,Because God will be right there with you;  he'll keep you safe and sound. (The Message)

I am resting in the last line of this verse. "Because God will be right there with me!"

Others have been saying "You think it is emotionally hard sending your daughter off to college. Wait to next year when you send the last daughter. Then you are really going to freak out. You will be a empty nester."

Will I?

I grew up in a home where my Mom did freak out when everyone left the nest. It was so hard for her. I like to think that with God next year he will be setting "New things" in motion. I am choosing to set my mind on things above. The love from above will set me on a continued course for the plans God has for my life and my families life. Now I know my family is not wishing me to feel defeated and lost. I just pray they will pray for me and ask God between now and then that a plan will unfold for "Lainey." (That is what they call me)

I just know God will not let all the scriptures in my go head go void and not produce anything for His glory.

"He who began a work in Lainey will carry it on till the day of the Lord Jesus Christ" (Phil. 1:6 NIV)

"I know the plans I have for Lainey declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).

Don't worry about Lainey God will help her get through these changes. Quite possibly with fun new things on the horizon.

How about you?

Let's make a promise. We will trust in the Lord with all our heart. It will be okay! Okay?
